Inspired by men’s tuxedo shirts from the early 1900s, The Waistcoat Button Up takes its details from a particularly special vintage piece. The silhouette is relaxed but slightly shrunken in proportion, with a cropped length and a shaped hem reminiscent of a traditional men’s waistcoat. A pleated bib, tailored cuffs, and rows of delicate shirting buttons along the front placket reference its formal origins. Princess seams at the front and back create subtle shaping, while a narrow self-fabric tie at the back allows it to be worn loose or gently cinched at the waist.
